Frick. I um. Wow.
Hello, Basilten here… It feels like a lifetime since I’ve been around. This dash used to feel home and now it looks so foreign. Wow. Okay. I’m sorry, guys. It looks like I’ve entered another era of life, and my presence/absence on certain blogs tends to reflect that. I’m not even entirely sure I who I used to be here, or tried to be. But… I might use this blog again. Hopefully. I have to be very picky about the online spaces I call home now.
For any friends I inadvertently left, or anyone who may have wondered after me: I’m so sorry, I love you.

your true beauty.
you were a country

you had too much
for me to see.
you were the world,
i was a tourist
glad to be in the presence

- You have five fingers on each hand. One day those fingers will travel from your lap to someone else’s and that person will know all the bad stuff and still want to kiss you.
- Seasons are guaranteed when nothing else seems to be.
